Families in our community deserve schools that prioritize safety, transparency, and a strong educational foundation. As a candidate for Newport-Mesa Unified School District Trustee, Area 5, I am committed to providing the leadership necessary to achieve these goals and to ensuring that every student and parent has the opportunity to succeed.

Newport Beach has made significant investments in public safety, a commitment I have strongly supported. I am honored to have the endorsements of Mayor Joe Stapleton, Mayor Pro Tem Lauren Kleiman, and the most recent Trustee for this seat, Hon. Michelle Barto. Together, we will continue working to strengthen our schools and our community.

Our schools must return to a focus on academic excellence and real-world skills—not political or social agendas that detract from learning. A strong education should equip students with essential knowledge and practical skills that prepare them for life beyond the classroom. This includes financial literacy, an understanding of taxes, public speaking, cursive handwriting, and pathways to trade careers for students whose passions lead them beyond a traditional college path. These fundamental skills, alongside rigorous core academics, are critical in fostering independence, confidence, and long-term success.
